I'm NURELIC, it's pronounced 'new-relic'...I've been involved in the music industry under many guises since the late 90’s always advocating for quality sounds & bespoke music.

During the late 90's early 00's I was frequenting some of London’s renowned UK Underground Garage pirate stations & building up appearances on the club circuit through one of my earlier creations - DJ Fluxee. A vinyl DJ at the time I pursued a Sound Engineering qualification & music production insights...Mr Phillips was born, a homage to my mother who brought a pair of decks & some records home for me one day after feeling my mixtape game. Some work involving Latin/Funky house music, live musicians joining my DJ sets & a brief stint within the UK Hip Hop scene where I got further into music production & event management, all led to me joining a team of talented folks who went on to create 'Scratch Club Wednesdays' using another alias - Leon P. This was all followed by a music hiatus whilst I indulged in a career within the Tech Industry which has since enabled me to pursue a passion of mine...Music Production.

A resurgence I've come across within the Underground Garage scene over the past few years has re-invigorated my love for sharing what I consider to be quality underground dance music. Autumn 2022 saw me venture out again as a DJ armed with my old Underground Garage vinyl collection & a few dozen USB's filled with new music. My attempts to open ears to new selections of vinyl & digital atmospheric sounds through my radio shows & performances appear to be going down well, whilst specialising in old-school US/UK House & Garage, New UK Underground Garage sounds alongside a sprinkle of Future Garage as well as Soulful, Latin, Deep & Afro House I have seen my mixes top charts.

I'm now bringing a steady stream of production work & ideas to the table, working with other independent artists, labels & producers on the next chapter of NURELIC. You can find some of my work including remixes & my own independently released EP's, out in stores now. We ain't stopping anytime soon!
